Wow, way to put things into perspective! I had never heard that about parallel universes, but it makes sense to me! So many possibilities, choices, and opportunities!

LikeHello my friend, I find that the study of unexplainable stuff is fascinating and the idea that as advanced as we are, we have only started to grasp what is our place in the universe is one that can humble anyone. To know that among the infinite possibilities out there we have come to be friends is also quite amazing. Sending you tons of love, -Bern

LikeThis is a great way to put things into perspective, Bernando. The world, is so, so SO unimaginably big... in the grand scheme of things, our problems are unimaginably small :)

LikeThank you sweet Therese and not only is the universe big but at a very real level we are also the universe and therefore have the keys to solving absolutely anything that is thrown our way or adapt to a different. I'm so happy to see you here my friend I appreciate your visit and your comment. LOVE your blog BTW. Abrazos, -Bern

LikeHello, old friend! It's been a while, but I'm so glad to have stumbled upon a few minutes to enjoy your post today. I applaud you for going "out there." ;) As you described how to pull back for that sense of universal perspective - from you to the world to the solar system to the Universe to the alternate realities - I got a quick flash in my head of the closing scene in the original Men in Black movie ... you know - when you learn that the Universe is hidden inside the charm on the collar of a cat and is ultimately a playing piece in a cosmic children's game of marbles? I loved that. I loved the sense of pulling back from ourselves and getting the context ... even though it was a context that made your head explode a little. ;) Even is someone isn't able to grasp the idea of infinite space and how small that makes our little blue-green world, everyone can grasp the concept of time. In a similar way to the exercise you described, a person can also look at a problem and ask herself, "Will this matter so much to me tomorrow? Next week? Next month? Next year? Three years from now? When I'm on my deathbed?" When you look at a problem with this long-term perspective, most crises are significantly diminished in intensity. Another great post & things to think about. Thanks, Bernardo. Cheers!

LikeDearest Friend, As always, I am so happy to see you here and know how busy you are so I most definitely appreciate you taking a few minutes to watch this. That is the challenge, right? How to get back to what is really essential and what matters most even in context of the larger universe(s) such as love, gratitude, compassion, giving. I learned something even more fascinating yesterday 70% of that Universe is called dark energy and NO ONE has any effin' clue as to what it is, 25% is cold dark matter (still very unknown but at least a couple of theories out there), 4% goes back to energy and chemicals released on the big bang, and the visible universe is .01% of what is out there. So all the stuff I just described (which is immense), is but an incredibly small portion of what exists. So what this tells me is that there has to be a better way, a more immediate way to do and be the light now and do away with so much garbage that we let influence our days that has no relevance or transcendence but can take away from our ability to enjoy life and give ourselves fully to our mission. Sending you lots of love and wishing you an incredibly fulfilling week dearest Jamie. Bern

LikeIsn't it amazing how much we don't know - don't see - don't yet understand. The thought can be terrifying, or terribly exciting. The best bit - we get to choose. ;)

LikeYou said it best Jamie! The unknown can be terrifying but also hold a realm of freedom and pure possibilities. How we define this choice will affect our destiny forever.

LikeI love it. It's so true. We know SO little about what is really going on here. There is SO much space to unfold into! Connecting with and living from a higher, deeper, wider spectrum of ourselves is very powerful. Thanks for the input. I'm working with expanding my awareness and felt sense of my expansiveness right now :)

LikeDearest Syndee, I too am working on expanding my awareness by connecting to that part of myself which is not really inside of myself and which is you, the universe and everything else in between. The whole object/subject split of consciousness is a very difficult concept to grasp intellectually so my best chance of merging with this lays in being more so than trying to comprehend it :) I have realized though, that the more I seem to understand, the less I really know, and the more questions that arise in my mind. What a beauty to live in this unfolding mystery and how amazing to share it with people like you not matter how illussory the division between us is. Thank you so much for watching adding your powerful voice to this post and for being so conscious and giving. Sending you lots of love, -Bernardo

LikeSo beautiful. The path of most expansion really is more of a feeling journey than a thinking journey!
