How to use the depth of your love to shine more light

Most people’s reaction to Valentine’s day is either playful excitement or extreme repulsion at the thought of a “greeting card made holiday”. Today’s video is a short yet actionable reminder of how to love more deeply and how to use the love or the hurt you create as a tool for opening your heart and the heart of others.

Hello Betsy, You are right mastering this takes a lot of honesty, courage and presence. I am currently working on this and that is why I'm sharing it, so by no means am I using myself as a shining example of someone who has already mastered this :) I am just finding that there is so much universal power in being extremely willing to feel both the pain and pleasure we radiate to others. Mastering this is indeed a gift and one we can pass down to our children for a life of tremendous light. Thank you for stopping by and sharing so openly and courageously. Love you, -Bern

Every negative encounter I've had with people has taught me in the moment to pay attention to how I felt and ask myself if I wanted to make others feel the same feelings I felt as a result of how I was communicating to them. I have always been humbled when I hear someone's hurtful words (either to me or I witness them being said to someone else) and realize that I am very unaware of how destructive we can be with each other. I walk away resolved to remember that tone of voice and my pain. It's hard to stay present and to stay focused on what I really want to project. It takes patience and self control and questioning. I'm getting better at seeing the results, and want to get better at seeing things that I say and how they are received. Thank you Bernardo. This one is a true gift to master!

I used to walk through the streets and envision people as balls of light - seeing them for their true selves and for our connection rather than the personality on top. It's been awhile since I've approached life this way - thank you for the reminder that we are all truly connected and can (and do) have a profound effect on one another!

Good morning Sabrina, What a powerful image and what a great way to approach your connection with others. I am finding that the more I can truly be the recipient of all that I give, the more careful I become when about to give something not nice :) Thank you for your comment and your balls of light image my friend! Love, Bern
