Yes! Let's get ridiculous! I love this Bernardo. I've been feeling ridiculous quite a lot lately and you know what -- I've been excited to wake up every day since I started acting so ridiculous. It's easy to play it safe and never look stupid. But it's boring. Numbing even. I'd rather take a chance and feel alive. Will I look ridiculous? Maybe. But there is also a chance I won't. So to me, that makes it all worth it. I'm really enjoying your vlogs!

I agree. Sometimes being ridiculous is the BEST thing you can do. Let go of inhibitions, push past your fears and just do what moves you. Amazing things can happen that have less to do with smart and more to do with heart! ;)

"Be ridiculous today." I think that's great advice, my friend. :) Your tips are great. I can especially attest to the power of the first re: changing your physiology. I took voice lessons for about a year and learned that the connections between our inner emotions and our physical bodies are both intense and subtle. During stressful times, I found it nearly impossible to project my voice with any power when I sang. My breathing was wrong. My posture was wrong. There was no, as you put it, "oomph" behond my delivery. Vice versa, I have also learned that when I am feeling afraid or down, I can sometimes sing my way out of that place by using my voice to express and "jumpstart" my inner power - kicking my fears to the curb. It's a handy (and fun) tool! TKS for another fun post. Just what I needed today in the midst of my current chaos.
