If a fire broke out inside your house and you only had 60 seconds to go back for something (other than your family) what would you get? Today I share the answer to this question as well as an insight from the item I choose to save. What can you learn from the item you would take with you?
Good morning Bernardo! I was having this exact thought last night. I've had it often so I'm pretty focused on my "important" things. My friend called me from her motel room in Bastrop, Texas. She has been displaced from her home because of the fires there. Her call got me thinking. I'm so happy that all of my family history and the related documents and pictures are in one place. They're irreplaceable. I'm compiling stories with the intention of having a written history for my family to get to know our ancestors as well as I do. One thing in the collection is a soldier's Bible that is almost 100 years old. My great uncle touched it and collected things to go inside it. Thanks for the question! Have a fun day! Betsy
