Why Do Men Run Away When I’m Vulnerable?

For Today’s edition of Get The Love You Crave Q&A I’m answering a question by a courageous, lively and beautiful woman (who wishes to remain anonymous) and who’s wondering how much she should open in full vulnerability with men and when is the right time to move on if a guy seems indifferent or turned off by her openness.

Her Full Question Below

“If I think throughout my past there have been guys I’ve liked, who SEEMED to have been interested as they’ll flirt like at a party or when we run into each other, but the minute I become vulnerable and honest about my feelings (and not just flirty) they turn cold.

It seems to happen with a lot of guys. So, I’m wondering if being open and vulnerable only works with a certain type of man, or after a certain period of time. Or, it’s completely possible I’m terrible at reading signals. Maybe I*think* they’re flirting but they’re really just being nice.

What do you do if you are completely open with someone and you immediately get nothing or very little back? I don’t want to be a pushover, so when do you know when to give up on someone?
