Everything is a present
4Today I have the honor to share with you the story of the oldest holocaust survivor, Alice Herz-Sommer. I know that if you are anything like me, you will find this to be far more than just an “inspiring story” and perhaps make it one of those important life lessons you can call back upon whenever you need a reminder of: what really matters in life, why gratitude is the way and most importantly, why “everything is a present.”
Watch my video and listen for my challenge, then watch this heart opening interview and let me know via a comment what is your biggest actionable takeaway from this woman.

What a BEAUTIFUL soul - a beacon for those who forget sometimes and lose our footing! Her light absolutely shines in this interview - as always Bern a great find and a great challenge! I fully accept to see the good and remember that EVERYTHING (even and especially the bad) is a present :).

LikeBeautiful Sabrina, She is all of us, I love this interview because it hints at the most universal truth: we are all one. And because we are all one, we get to choose if we want to embrace life as the gift is is or if we want to see what's not working as it should be. Thank you for investing the time to watch this and for sharing it with your Dad. I appreciate your willingness to open your heart to the ideas I share in here. So much love to you. -Bern

LikeDearest Betsy, This fed my soul too and I too really needed to hear her out. Tuesday was a day when a couple of times during the day I fel very upset at myself for an absurd and self imposing reason. For a pretty long moment I lost track of what's really important and disconnected from one of my ultimate forces in life, the power to feel absolutely grateful. It took less than two minutes of watching this interview to recalibrate and feel really happy again. And you my friend, with nine beautiful children, I can only imagine the life force that your laughter and smiles can bring to their lives. Sending you a big big hug this morning and thank you so much for letting the message into your heart and letting me know about it, it makes a difference in my life too. Lots of love, -Bern

LikeTHIS. FED. MY. SOUL!!!!! She was always laughing. I've questioned who I am and how I am this week. I've been off balance because I felt so different, always laughing. I hope you understand the blessing you gave to me by sharing this. On the floor, close to her son, laughing, seeing her influence on her own child. I needed to hear that! Thank you my friend. You saved me from myself once again. Betsy
